Kids Camp at Lake Retreat is full of the kind of energy kids talk about all year — music thundering out of chapel, field games that get loud fast, and lake time that feels like the highlight of every afternoon. Mornings start with chapel that’s upbeat but grounded, with worship that’s energetic and easy to jump into and teaching that’s clear, fun, and easy to connect with. Afternoons rotate between lake time, field games, and the ever‑important Snack Shack, where kids grab something sweet and then spread out across camp with friends. It’s lively, joyful, and full of the kind of moments where kids discover that God meets them with excitement and curiosity, not just quiet. There’s room to play, room to worship, and room to discover that God meets us with joy just as much as He meets us with peace — right in the middle of all the noise, laughter, and life happening around them. And in those moments, kids often find themselves beginning to connect with God in a real and personal way.
Evenings are when everything turns up — worship gets loud enough that the whole camp can feel it, and kids respond in ways that are real, personal, and full of life. It’s four days of worship, teaching, sunshine, and the kind of joy that makes camp feel bigger than everyday life. It’s fun, it’s full of life, and it’s the kind of environment where kids get to experience God in a way that’s both exciting and deeply meaningful. We’ll be at Lake Retreat Camp in Ravensdale from August 2–5, with kids entering grades 3–6. Details about packing, transportation, and cost will be shared with interested families.
