At MountainView Christian Fellowship, our beliefs are simple and rooted in Scripture. We believe God is real, God is good, and God invites every person into a life‑changing relationship with Him. We hold to the historic Christian faith and share the core beliefs of the Assemblies of God, expressed here in clear, everyday language.
Our goal isn’t to overwhelm you with theology. It’s to help you understand the heart of what we believe and why it matters.
We believe in one God who is Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — perfectly loving, perfectly holy, and actively at work in the world today.
We believe Jesus is God’s Son, fully God and fully human. He lived, died, and rose again so we could be forgiven, restored, and brought into relationship with God.
We believe the Holy Spirit is present and active, guiding, comforting, empowering, and transforming us. He helps us grow, teaches us to pray, and shapes our lives to look more like Jesus.
We believe the Bible is God’s Word — trustworthy, true, and given to help us know God and live the life He calls us to. We read it with humility, openness, and a desire to listen.
We believe every person is invited into God’s grace. Through Jesus, we receive forgiveness, new life, and the hope of eternity. Salvation is a gift — not something we earn, but something we receive by faith.
We believe the Church is a family — a community of people learning to follow Jesus together. We gather to worship, pray, study Scripture, serve one another, and share God’s love with the world.
We believe following Jesus shapes every part of our lives. We grow in love, kindness, honesty, generosity, and compassion as the Holy Spirit works in us day by day.
We believe Jesus will return, God will make all things new, and His kingdom will be fully restored. This hope gives us strength, peace, and purpose today.
