Jonah chooses to be thrown over board in an attempt to save the lives of all on the ship. Even though his heart was not in the right place yet, God chooses to cause what Jonah means for death to provide life not only to Jonah but to an entire nation. You and I are given the same choice, to choose death or life, to respond to God and allow Him to use you and me.
