Missionaries John and Kimberly Calhoun give an update about their work with Integrity Primary School in Uganda.
They have asked for prayer for the following, in their work with the school:
- For the new staff: unity & integrity, a growing knowledge of Jesus, to be teachable & tell the truth, and for longevity.
- Local Director Hannington: wisdom & reliance on Jesus
- Head Teacher: great leadership skills & willing to learn
- Director of Studies: great leadership & desire to help others succeed
- Security Team: loyalty to the school
- Kitchen Staff & Cooking Team: safe practices
- Dorm Staff & Childcare Team: great maternal side & to protect the kids
- School Nurse: wisdom in how to treat different illnesses in the children, desire to teach good habits
- Office Financial Person: integrity & attention to detail, great w/ parents & students
- Open teaching positions will get filled w/ the right people
- Local farming teams who grow a portion of the school's food supply
- Secondary Students at boarding school: that they behave, study hard, and stay close to Jesus
- John & Kimberly: wisdom, health, good attitudes, & keeping Jesus close
- Things to pray against: sexual immorality/harassment, laziness, lying & manipulation, apathy, evil spirits, abuse of students, cultural sins, and the creation of rivalry groups
